Airbus A300 - FedEx

Airbus A300 FedEx

Federal Express (FedEx) is the biggest air courier of packages in the world. The airline was founded by Frederick Smith in 1973 and started flying with a number of Dassault Falcon bizjets from Memphis. After deregulation of the air cargo market Federal Express grew rapidly. Today it has a fleet of almost four hundred cargo airliners (excluding hundreds of Cessna Caravans). The photograph shows an Airbus A300 at Miami International Airport. FedEx took delivery of the last newly built A300 in 2007.
