Air India is the national airline of India. It was founded in 1932 as Tata Airlines and was renamed 'Air India' in 1946. Air India's traditional main activity was flying international and intercontinental air services, but in 2007 the airline merged with its domestic counterpart Indian Airlines. From the merger the name Air India was kept alive. Part of the Air India fleet is a number of Airbus A310 airliners. The photograph shows an Airbus A310 at Geneva Cointrin Airport.
