Airbus A340-600 - Virgin Atlantic Airways

The British airline Virgin Atlantic Airways was the first operator of the stretched Airbus A340-600. The airline exists since 1984 and was founded by business tycoon Richard Branson. Virgin started its operations from London Gatwick, but in 1991 it also started flying from Heathrow. The Airbus A340-600 on the photograph is approaching Heathrow.
