Boeing 737 Jet2

Jet2.com is a British low-cost no-frills airline, which started flying in February 2003 from Leeds Bradford International Airport. The airline was set up as the low-cost division of Channel Express, a company that existed since the early 1980s. The airline was first named Jet2, but soon ".com" was added to the name. In early 2006 all activities of Channel Express (freight and charter operations) and Jet2.com were brought together under the Jet2.com brand.
Jet2.com flies domestic and international services from six main bases: Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle upon Tyne, Blackpool, Edinburgh and Belfast. The workhorse in the fleet of the airline is the Boeing 737-300, of which around twenty are in service in 2007. Jet2.com also flies Boeing 757s and sometimes Boeing 737-400s. The aircraft on the picture above is in the standard Jet2.com colours, but there are also exist several modified paint schemes as can be seen on the photographs below.
