Boeing 737-300 - Air China

Boeing 737 Air China

Air China is the flag carrier and one of the three biggest airlines of China. It is China's main international airline and it is based at Beijing Capital Airport. The airline was actually the former international division of the CAAC (Civil Aviation Authority of China) and renamed 'Air China' in 1988, when several separated airlines were formed in the country out of the CAAC. At first the fleet consisted mainly of several Soviet aircraft types, but since the 1980s many modern Western jets, mainly Boeings, but also several Airbus types, were introduced. Air China flies several Boeing 737-versions. The picture shows a 737-300 at Beijing Capital Airport.
