Southwest Airlines is the biggest and most successful low-cost airline in the world. It started flying in 1971 and offers low-fare point-to-point flights. Southwest only flies Boeing 737s of the -300, -500 and -700 versions and has around 500 of these airliners in operation. The picture shows a 737-300 at Chicago Midway Airport.
