Polar Air Cargo is a US cargo airline and a sister company of Atlas Air. It started flying in 1993 and was taken over by Atlas Air in 2001. Polar offers scheduled cargo services from its main bases New York JFK, Anchorage International and Amsterdam Schiphol. The airline flies a number of Boeing 747-400F freighters. The aircraft on the photograph is about to land at Miami International Airport.
