Southern Air is a US cargo airline operating an all Boeing 747 fleet. The airline was formed in 1999 and took over the assets of earlier Southern Air Transport. The photograph shows a Boeing 747-200B/SUD/SF (Stretched Upper Deck/Special Freighter). This aircraft was originally flying with KLM, which had the Jumbo Jet converted to get a stretched upper deck. After KLM-service the 747 was converted a second time to freighter configuration. The photograph is taken at Miami Airport.
