Boeing 747 - Northwest Airlines

Northwest Airlines is a major US airline with a strong presence in East Asia. Until 2007 Northwest flew the Boeing 747-200 on intercontinental services. After the withdrawal a small number of this Jumbo Jet version was kept active for military charter flights. The picture is taken at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, homebase of Northwest's partner KLM.
