Pinnacle Airlines is a regional airline flying under the Northwest Airlink banner. The airline was founded as Express Airlines 1 in 1985 as a feeder airline for Republic Airlines. After the merger of Republic and Northwest Airlines in 1986 the airline continued regional flights for Northwest. In 2002 the airline was renamed to Pinnacle Airlines. The airline flies more than one hundred Bombardier CRJ200 and CRJ440 airliners. The photo shows a CRJ440LR (Long Range) at Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport.
