Fokker 70 - KLM Cityhopper

Fokker 70 KLM cityhopper

The by far biggest user of the Fokker 70 is KLM Cityhopper, the regional subsidiary of KLM. The airline has more than twenty aircraft of the type in service. KLM Cityhopper was founded as NLM (Nederlandse Luchtvaart Maatschappij) in 1966 by KLM. In 1991 NLM Cityhopper was integrated with an other Dutch regional airline, Netherlines, and the combined airline was named KLM Cityhopper. In 2002 KLM UK (formerly Air UK) became part of KLM Cityhopper as well. The Fokker 70 on the photograph is approaching KLM Cityhopper's homebase Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
